Delighted that you have found us! We are Jim and Elizabeth Morgan

behind Mountain Acres.

After spending many years working in the city, we decided it was time for a lifestyle change. In 2013, we threw a few darts at a northeast map (wanting to stay close to loved ones) and one landed in the Adirondacks.

Neither of us had ever visited the area but on our very first visit, we felt as if we were finally home for many reasons and put down new roots. 

With land and forest to spread out, and a slower paced day-to-day, it was exactly what we were longer for since we were young.

We now raise animals, have a large garden and we also take part

in the local Farmers Market. 

I was born with a whisk in my hand and after decades of cooking and baking for loved ones, I'm blessed to offer some of our favorites to

neighbors and friends in the area.
